Hi guys,
I have an urgent question.
My situation is like this.
I came to US in Oct-2002 and I have been in US continously only couple of months I went to India on vacation in between.
So technically speaking my 6 years gets over by Oct-2008.
But recently when I transferred H1B to my current employer in 2006, the new H1B petition got an expiry date of July-2009.
So my question is before when should I apply for Perm labor
i.e. 365 days before 6 years end from the date I started using H1B(which means I am too late now)
or
365 days before H1B expiry date( which in my case is not same as 6 years but 6 years 10 months).
Its kind of strange situation.
Kindly please clarify.
