urgent visitor visa ??-- any help appreciated

Hi gurus ,
got a question regarding visitor visa...
I heard if person's age is 60+ then they need not to go consulate personally for visa and they can use drop-box facilty provided by US consulate.
my father's age is 60+ and my mother's less than 60. they are applying together.can they both use drop-box facility to get visitor visa from Hyderabad ???

Both of them can use drop box facility for visa. The condition is that either of the spouse should be 60+.
