I am trying to find out if any of you have been in a similar situation before.
I have applied for my H1 Reval thru St. Louis. Based on the current 2 month turnaround with the barcoded form, I'm expecting my passport back just a month before my India trip. However, given the uncertainty of this process, I want to make an appointment with the Chennai consulate for both H1 & H4 (Even though the H1 appointment is as a backup, I want to do it now as the dates might not be available later).
My question is:
Has anyone taken an appointment for both H1 & H4, but later, only the H4 applicant went for the interview? if you have been in this situation before, I would greatly appreciate any info that you can provide.
