I need to travel to the US urgently next week. My L1
petition is approved, but I am yet to go for the interview.
However, since this process takes atleast 10 days, my
company cannot open that long, and they want to travel me
first on B1 for 6 weeks, come back and take my L1 interview
as soon as I return. I heard from a friend that if we
travel to the US on B1, we should wait for a month atleast
before we can apply for L1 interview, otherwise they will
reject the L1. Is this true ? If yes, could you please
direct me to the website/literature where this rule is
mentioned so that I can convey the same to my company ? I
would greatly appreciate if you could reply as soon as
possible, as I have to travel in a week's time.
