urgent travel with AP

Hi,

I have to travel to India(Orissa) in 10 days time. I am EB3 India PD Nov 2001. I will be traveling with AP.

I will take the Emirates airlines flight to Kolkata.

I have some questions:

When I am going to India:
1. When I leave US I need to surrender my I94(which has expired, my h1 has expired and now I am in EAD) isnt it?
2. Give a copy of my AP to Emirates airlines.
3. Show EAD and AP at transit point in Dubai to Kolkata.

When I am leaving India to come to US:
1. Show EAD and AP to immigration officials at kolkata before I board the plane.
2. Show EAD and AP at transit point in Dubai to US.
3. Give a copy of my AP to Emirates airlines.
4. Show EAD and AP at port of entry in US.

Do I need to fill I94 or AP is sufficient.

Anyone who has traveled to Kolkata with AP can you tell about your experience.

What process listed is OK , YES while coming back to US you have to fill I-94 they will issue I-94 with Adjustment of Status (AOS) Valid for one year from the date you enter at POE there will be Primary Check to take your index finger print and photo and they will take to a Secondary check who will verify you AP Document and issue I-94.
 
Need to travel out side US on emergency pending AOS.

What is the time frame to get advance parole with pending 485?
Is there any way to get in local USCIS office on emergency base?

Please advise me. Thanks in advance.

For emergencies, one should go to the local INS center [go very very early -- something like 4am or even earlier], and stand in line to get the AP. I think they give the AP same day. Other option is to expedite an already pending AP application. They process it in a week or so -- you need to call the service center, get the fax number, and fax them a letter and relevant documents.
 
Emergency Travel

My wife needs to travel to India urgently due to family reasons. We have a pending adv parole application at VSC and their online shows they recently mailed us an RFE.
Do we need to provide proof that warrants "such emergency travel", like doc's certificate etc.
If thats the case its difficult to achive in short period.
Has anyone went thru such experiences ?
