I would really appreciate answers to my question.
I applied for GC through NIW and Eb and have H1B now at University A.
However, I got a faculty job at University B and will move there in March.
I will continue working at University A through the first week of March.
University B will start paying me from March (as a moving expense).
I will start H1b transfer in January (start date would be March 1 on document).
The problem is that my father is very ill and I have to visit my home country after moving in March during H1b transfer (I cannot do this before transfer).
My question is;
1. I heard I can start working at University B after I receive a receipt for H1b transfer. However there is one week overlap of University A and B. Would it be possible?
2. More importantly, is it possible for me to get new H1b stamp for University B in my home country (transfer is filed in the US) and come back to US on it?
