I got a job offer from one of the desi IT consulting companies as a technical recruiter. But the experience has been horrible so far as they are extremely bad at communication and are totally unprofessional. They are going to pay me pittance in the beginning and are giving no assurance about the final pay the "probation" period. They are also asking me to pay for my own H1-B.
I already have a Master's degree frm the US and I'm in the middle of my PhD and am thinking abt taking this offer so I'll be under the 20K quota and my start date is going to be the first week of January. Now if my petition is filed in the premium processing mode do you think I'll make it the 20K quota? THis is in California. I'll be going directly from F-1 to H-1.
