Gurus please help.....

Using Ac21 rule and EAD I joined a full time position 2 mths back and now because of company's product acquisition - I got laid off today. I am looking out for the new employer now....

From I485 rule perspective do I need to have continuation in employment without any break?

How does it impact my I485 adjudication?

I had appliced the AC21 to USCIS through this employer - do I need to keep in mind anything?

I am sorry to hear this news. You have no control of being laid off. You would not be out of status now, as you are in adjustment of status. Just try to find a job as soon as possible and file a new AC21 explaining INS as why you intended to change to this new job. You are all set. Good Luck!

Does that mean if there is a gap of 2-3 months in joining the new company - it should be ok?

I have Advance Parole. I have to travel to my home country ASAP - will that be ok?
