Ideal candidate with experinence with BO XI Admin and Development.
Business Objects Infrastructure candidate with the following expertise:
Business Objects XI R2 Central Management Console functionality experience
Business Objects XI R2 Installation and Configuration experience
Business Objects XI R2 Migration experience
Business Objects XI R2 Upgrade and Patching experience
Business Objects XI R2 Maintenance and trouble shooting issues experience
Business Objects XI R2 Performance Manager and Dashboard Manager experience
Business Objects XI R2 Client Tools: Import Wizard, Publishing Wizard, Designer and Desktop Intelligence
Knowledge in Business Object report creation
Knowledge in Business Object Universe creation
Production support experience with Business Objects
Failover/Recovery knowledge with Business Objects
Knowledge in VB
Prior Business Objects versions 6 x
Oracle / SQL database knowledge
Communication and documentation skills
Job responsibilities:
Manage all upgrades, maintenance, and support of the Business Objects system
Interface with key business owners to define and deliver high quality, effective reports
Design and develop new Business Objects universes from ORACLE database designs
Must be able to translate business-reporting requirements into universe strategies and design
Participate in the review of existing universes and their modification to meet user-reporting requirements
The Single Point of Contact for all reporting issues, enhancements, and engineering
Migrate BO 6 5 x to XI R2
Creating and maintaining Business Objects reports
Working with others to develop universes, reports and coordinating the development aspects of a project from start to finish
Performs production support and troubleshooting, and maintenance
Write Macros /Addins
