Hi,
If I am in the US and recently transferred my H1 to another company with the following scenario at present
- I have valid petition from old company and valid visa stamping from that company till Aug 2008
- I have valid petition from new (current) company till Apr 2009
- Wife and child are both in India at present
- Wife has valid H4 visa stamping from old company i.e till Aug 2008
-Child was born recently hence doesnt have any visa stamping
Considering the above,if I have to bring my family to US what is the recommendation:
1) Should I have the wife's visa done again along with the child's using the new petition (valid till Apr 2009)? or only the child's?
2)If both wife and child apply,any ideas on what would be the visa expiry date? Will it be Aug 2008 coinciding with my visa expiry date or will it be Apr 2009 coinciding with the new petition expiry date?
3)Will my wife face any issues in consulate - because I have visa for old company and she will be applying for visa for new company?
4)Will there be any issues in future for me related to the visa stamping,GC,etc since my visa due to this scenario may have different employer name and expiry date compared to the wife's and child's visa?
