I and my wife possess reentry permits valid till May 2010. We are in the US to apply reentry permit for our GC holder son aged 1.5 years. The instructions for form I-131 state that biometrics and related fee are applicable for applicants aged between 14 and 70 only. However it doesn't state what needs to be done for those aged below 14 like my son. I plan on mailing in a application with 2 photographs and 305$ check(no biometric fee) and hope no biometric appointment will be required as we plan on returning to India in 2 weeks from now.
Please advise if anyone knows what to expect in such a case as I'm running out of time.
