urgent questions regarding filling I-485

Sorry, here is the questions

1. what should I choose for question " were you inspected by a U.S immigration officer?"
    I came to states with legal F1 visa in 1998.

2. What should I list for "membership in or affiliated with every polical org, assoc ..."?
   I just have a membership in academic such as american statistical association. Should put that or
  simply put "none" for this question.

1. YES (because you entered this country legally, that question is meant for the people who entered US illegaly (jumping the fense, crwaling like that). So answer YES

2. NONE (ASA is not a polital association. They are asking about organizations like communist party or Al Queda (added recently :)
