Urgent question

I am working for this company and my I-485 is through this company. My receipt date is last March 2001. I am still with this company.

I have a new better opportunity and want expert advice to know if it is a good thing for me to change my present job. What will be the repurcussions on my 485 application filed through my present company.

Please do advice me if anyone has done something like this before.

you should be fine as long as the other job has the same job description, But make sure your current GC processing employer wont revoke your I140 petition.

Even though you can still get approval after I140 is revoked you many face some tension and INS may ask for explanantion and could delay the process.
