Urgent question

Hi All,
I just went to the post office to apply for my and wife's passport and the USPS agent asked us for the birth certificates even though we had Naturalization certificates. Do I need to provide birth certificates as well when applying for a passport thru' naturalization? Others, who have already applied pls advise.

Never heard of this for adults applying with natz certf. We were only asked for the certf and nothing else, not sure if they looked at DL.

Go to another post office. Birth certificate is needed for children applying under the child citizenship act of 2000, but not for adults as far as I know.
