i have a couple of questions about the fingerprinting.
when exactly do i get a notice that i have to go to a finger printing interview?
is that like right after i filed my I-130 and I485 or what happens?
i dont know much about the process of getting a greencard and was wondering if anyone could explain it to me.
also i was wondering if i absolutely need a valid passport to go to the fp interview since mine will be expired at that time.
to get it renewed or get a new one the embassy wants either a alien reg. number....which i dont know when i will get that...along with a copy of some kind of card i am supposed to get or they want me to acquire a freedom of information/ privacy act from the ins to state that i have not acquired citizenship yet or am not in the process of

no passport no fp? no fp not number?
if i would only know what happens next after i sent in all my paperwork id might have a clue what to do.
also about the foi/pa ....does anyone have any experience with that...i dont know how to go about that or even how legal it is for me to file one.
