urgent question on travel, suggestion pl ???

I need to travel within US and now I am on I-485 , EAD, do I need to carry my passport ? or just my drivers license is ok ?

If you are travelling within US, your drivers license should be enough but having passport with you is better in case if someone asks for second id. Generally DL is enough.
