Urgent question - H1B visa for Administrative Assistant?

I was wondering if someone could help me out - is it possible one can get an H1B visa for an Administrative Assistant position? One that requires a 4-year degree. I am confused, as I am not sure if that would fall under any particular "specialty" category. You can be an AA at a law firm or business company for example, but not actually be a lawyer or a business-person - would that qualify you for the H1?

Thanks.

Oh, and one more question. I am on OPT training status until May of 2012. If I find an employer willing to offer me a H1B visa, by when do I (they) need to file a petition so that I can get the visa by May?

I'm sorry, I am doing a lot of research but these things aren't clear.

What is your degree? Has the DSO reviewed to see if the job meets the requirements for OPT?

It's an English degree. The requirements for OPT are basically none. Any job in any field is being accepted. Even volunteer positions. Its the H1 that I have no idea about. It seems the more I research, the more confused I get.
