I am on F1 and my OPT expires on Aug 4,08 and my H1 petition is "Received and Pending". If my H1 does not get "Approved" by Aug 4 will I be eligible to work after Aug 4 ?? I have the receipt # for H1 petition.
My school official says I will not be eligible to work in this scenario. Is that correct??
