urgent qs abt stamping from h4 to h1

hi

i'm on an h4.
i just got my h1 approved. i have a set of qs. plz help.

do i need to get my passport stamped immediately or can i start working for my employer?

also, is it advisable to send for stamping within the US before the 16th of july? if yes, why?

or is it just fine to get it stamped the next time i visit india? is there a time limit within which i need to get my passport stamped?

wht is the benefit of getting it stamped from the US rather than doing it from india on my next visit?

plz help. hoping for some responses soon, coz there's very little time for the 16th.

You can start working as of the starting date mentioned on your H1B approval notice. You are however not eligible for a H1B visa stamp revalidation from within the US since you do not have a H1B stamp on your passport. The next time you travel out of the US, go to the consulate, get an H1B stamp and re-enter. If you never travel, then there is no need to worry at all.

that was indeed news to me that i anyways did not have an option for getting it stamped it here.
i have another qs -
if my passport is not stamped, is it still possible to get my parents here on a visitors visa with just my I797? would u know abt that?
also, are there any important links which i cud use to refer to occasionally.
