Hi all,
I am on my 6th yr of h1b. My GC is in the LC stage (under EB2). It's been 3 months and I haven't received any response yet. Now how long is it taking for LC approvals and I-140s for EB2s? My only hope at this point is to miraculously get my I-140 before December, so I can apply for a 3 yr visa extension.
Any idea if I-140 premium processing will be extended to EB2s anytime soon? If not, then can I switch from EB2 to EB3 for I-140, so I can make use of premium processing? Or do I have to start from scratch, as in file labor under EB3 and then go from there?
My lawyer says I should wait till my LC is approved and then we can talk about my options. That makes me very nervous..I'd really appreciate any info on this issue, so I can at least be semi-prepared to leave the country should the need arise.
