Urgent ..pls help

here is my situation , My I-140 was cleared back in 2004 ( Nov-2004) and requested RFE for I-485 and I replied to RFE and then this retrogression started . My case was pending with RFE submitted.

My question , can I do my own consulting some thing like , say suppose we register some consulting company by my wife's name ( no body will work for this company , expect me) and If I find project can I quit the this employeer and start working as consultant ?? if so do I have to submit the ac-21 documents etc ??How much risk involved ??

Please dont feel offended .... just try to recollect the basic reason for us getting emploment based GC .... you will get an answer to your question ...buddy have some patience ....dont invite trouble for yourself....

i completely agree with previous posting...you will need patience for a period from today to GC approval plus at 6-12 monthes. Otherwise, you can creat a potential problem.

Somebody tried this on this forum and eventually got denied.

reason: If you are sponsored by a company that is owned by a family member then that person must file an I-864 affidavit of support for you. If they do not have a green card yet, then they cannot file an I-864 for you and thus your case would be denied.

Don't do this!
