I talked with BCIS.
They said my case has transferred to Jacksonville office.
Meanwhile since I moved from FL to NJ
I have to send them letter about address change and requesting them to transfer the case to Newark.
She was saying that Jacksonville office will not process my case since I live in New Jersey now.
Is it true?
Can I go for an interview in Jacksonville?

Even on the phone she didn't change my address saying it has to be done from Jacksonville office.
Is it true?

please advice me.

thanks,

I donno if this will help you BUT...

I believe the local offices run autonomously. what the lady said might be true. As the local offices have their own PDs and processing times (I think!). Is there anyway you can contact that local office?

Don't panic,

transfering local office mean progress on ur case..... its good sign..... if address issue ... can u get any notice sent to u at old address by JV office if yes than good..... always keep check ur mail at old addr.

now the issue is transfer to ur current location..... contact to attorney..... he would send update docs. btw did u submit ur pettition through Att or ur self?... if Attorney did then just contact to him

good luck .. don't panic my friend just relax....
