I am going to complete my H1 6 years status with in couple of days Can I able to stay in USA as

1. My Husband has new H1 , can I become H4 and stay as dependent in USA?


2. My new born baby is citizen, Can I become guardian to her and stay in USA ?

Please let me know the possibilities of staying in USA in my case.

As far as I know On H-Category you can stay only 6 years. But, there are otherways you can stay in US but need to check with your attorney.

1. Six years time includes yours h1 and h4 status. You might not be able to get h4 status after 6 years period on h1

2. I don't think you can stay as Guardian to US Citizen
