Urgent : Please help

Hi:
I got the I-551 stamping on my passport in Dallas on Dec 8th. On 19th Dec, I received a letter from the TSC INS stating that the immigration officer did not enclose a copy of the I-551 stamping in my file. Hence INS cannot proceed to create the card without the copy of the I-551 stamping. Has anyone received any such letter before? How much longer does it take to get the card?

Never heard of this before..

But I would recommend that you take the letter from the INS and go to the service center where you had your passport stamped. Talk to the immigration officer at the center and have them advice you as to how to proceed.

Also, have your attorney call the TSC to enquire as to how to proceed. Seems to me that it was clearly the mistake of the INS.
