Urgent Please Help

I am here in the US on H1B visa for past 6 months now. Right now I am not getting any salary from my employer.

1. What are the consequence ON THE EMPLOYER for canceling my H1 visa?

2. Can I sue the employer for not paying me & later canceling my H1 visa, basically for taking advantage of me??

While your visa is still valid, find another job and do a H1 transfer asap -- while you still have some paystubs.

Depending on your state of residence, you can then take ur employer to task.
Atleast in CA, the state's Dept of Labor will investigate such pay problems even for H1 folks.

But the most impt thing to do is to transfer your H1 to a new employer and also get contact details of all other emplpyees that are currently getting screwed with this employer (you can all file a DOL complaint together at a later date).
