Urgent!!! Please help me on H4 issue.

I am on h1b and my wife is on h4 and our both visas valid until july 2006 with current employer (which completes 6 years on july 2006). I am joining new employer who is sponsoring h1 for me and new employers attorney says that h4 transfer is not required because h4 is valid until july 2006. Is that ok if my wife stays on current h4 though I change my h1b to new employer??

I would be greatfull if you guys throw some ideas.

I'm not sure she can.. H4 is a dependant visa on your H1B visa, so if the predominant visa (H1B) get cancelled, she automatically gets cancelled as well. She will have to apply as H4 on your new H1B visa
