Hi,
I am sponsoring the vist of my in-laws and would like to know that what documents I need to send them related to my wife. She is on H1 right now (she came to current H1 i.e. transfer in Jan 2005) but she is not working sice then and hence she does not have pay stubs also since Jan 2005. What docs would be good in this case to send. I am planning to send the following for her:
1. Passport w/ I-94
2. Marriage Certificate
3. Latest H1-B ???...

Would it be advisable to send her H1 without paystubs or just don't send anything related to her work documents since I am the sponsor.

Please help.

Thanks.

all you can send is...
Sponcer letter I-134
Bank Statement,
Invitation Letter explaining why,how and what is the purpose...
Evidence of relations of person comming and person calling inthe US...
etc etc...

Infact, in most cases, your relative have to prove that they do not intend to stay after there visa end.. They have to show more papers then you..

we both are working but my husband sponsered for my parents and i didn't send any of my employer letter etc. and my parents got B2 visitor visa for 10 years!
ofcourse like the above person said, they also need to take some property, bank balance etc from their side.

-------------------
1. Letter to Consulate signed by sponser
2. Affidavit of Support (Form I-134)
3. Sponser's Employment Letter
4. sponser's Pay Stubs
5. sponser's or joint bank credit statement
6. Passport photocopies of both
7. marriage certificate photocopy

P_bala,

Did you send your original birth certificate ?? or in this case your wife's birth certificate ??

Thanks

Visitor visa for minor sister and brother

hello everyone,

I am currently on H1B visa. I want to invite my parents, my younger brother (11yrs old) and sister (12yrs old) to visit me.

I would appreciate if anyone could provide me information on how to apply for visitors visa for minors (brother and sister)

Would it be difficult for them to get a visitors visa.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
BV
