Urgent Please . GC Denied

I am working with the company "X"
since 2000 to till date.

Got I-140 aprroved through 'X" and applied for
485 through "X".

Meanwhile i got my I-140 approved through
another company "Y" , though i was not
working for them at any time. I have not
applied 485 through "Y" since i have already
applied it Through "X"

I got a letter denying my GC--the reason is
I-140 of Company "Y" is not approved (even though
I-140 of "Y" is approved and i have not applied 485 through
"Y"). I applied 485 "X" with approved I-140 of 'X"

The "Y" and "X" are seperate entity with diff. owner.

How come GC is denied on the basis of I-140 of "Y" when
i applied through "X"

What is the way out?

Please advice.
 
Talk to your lawyer and sort it out. THATS THE BEST WAY TO APPROACH.
Looks like not a major trouble.HOPE YOU WILL GET YOUR GC.
 
Looks like a clerical mistake. Reminds of Actress Sridevi's mother's
Eye operation(operated on the wrong eye in USA).
 
looks like somebody made a mistake! Consult a good attorney, and send them a copy of the approved 140 on the basis of which you applied for your 485.

At the worst, you might have to pay the $1000 fine, but I don't think you have a major problem.....
 
DOn't worry

You'll definetly be approved. But challenge the BCIS with appropriate documentation and go thru a good attorney.
 
should be ok

i think this is the way for the INS to indicate that the GC channel through Y is closed and there is definitely an active file for X open...
still a visit to an adept lawyer should be made!!
