Urgent!!!!! please answer

Hi friends,

I am going to Canada for landing process next month. I booked the appointment for H1 stamping also at Toronto consulate. But after reading H1 stamping experience in this forum I am little scared.

My question is , can I come back to USA same day after landing in Canada?
My visa in passport is expired in 2003. I have valid I-797 and I-94.

Please advise.

It is not advised for you to return the same day unless you have an address to receive important documents related to your landing in Canada.

Remember that you are stating one thing when you applied for landing in Canada and doing something else. This if reported could cost you your landing rights.

But if you prefer to do your going back to H-1 status thing in the states then wait atleast few days before going back. Try to get a mailing address locally before you return to uncle sams territory.
