Urgent, Please advise !

Me and my wife had our I-485 interview in Newark today. Officer was
not very friendly. When we left the office he basically said that he
has run both our applications under another computer database and that
he will notify us through mail.

What does that mean ?
What do they say/do when the application is denied ?
Actually my wife had a little complication in her case. However, he
did not say that we could have a problem because of that

Any opinions are appreciated

Don't worry...probably he meant running your names again IBIS database which is the new security measure implemented by INS recently.....

PD_1997: questions on interview

PD-1997: could you please post how long did they take to schedule the interview from the date your case was transferred to Newark. Secondly, did they give you reasons on why an interview was scheduled. Also can you let me know what they asked and what documents they checked. Your feedback would be very valued - I will also be interviewed at Newark.

Logically, if they had an issue they would have let you know. I think you will be OK and that your case will be approved.

Thanks for your response. I hope so too.

But I would like to know if they tell us about the denial in the
interview itself? He did not mention that I am in trouble or
anything.

thanks
