I am on H1B and my parents will be applying for Visitor visa this friday in Delhi. My father's sister is a green card holder and is living in US since 15 years. We were thinking of declaring in my father's application form that his sister stays here but someone advised us against it.
We are totally confused about this. My father is retired government officer and can show reasonable personal property and family ties (my grandmother stays with him and my sister is in India too).
On one hand we don't want to lie on the other hand we don't want the consulate to think that since his sister and son both are in US he will not return (especially when sister has a green card.)
If we don't mention about sister is there anyway they can find out about it if I later file green card for them?
