The attorney filed my H-1B transfer under Standard Process instead of Premium Process as I asked for and paid for. Now it has been 2 weeks since he filed it and I was told I can do nothing but waiting until receive the receipt then ask for transfering to Premium Process. Is that true???
My current H-1B expired in Feb, actually I got offer in Jan and the company's first attorney made mistake in filing schedule and cause me a status gap of 70 days up to today!!! Now the 2nd attorney of the company forgot to file the premium process!!!
I am thinking about some possibilities:
1. Can I file the 2nd petition with the same company with Premium Process. And if I receive them both approved (cross my fingures/toes), is there any issue?
2. Should I go back to my country even before receiving receipt or any response from CIS? Because I am very concern about this out-of-status period of time.
3. What else can I possbily do to this mess-up?
