Hello everyone,
I am holdig a bachelor's degree and currently working in a project right now. My OPT is expiring by end of june. My employer will be applying for h1-b on april 1st 2006 and putting start date as Oct. 1st 2006.
I will have 3 months in between out of which 2 months are for grace period.
My concern is:
1) Can I get CPT from some university by enrolling in online courses? Also can somebody tell if they know any university who can easily authorize for CPT.
2) If I don't get CPT, I will just enroll in classes. I know that I won't be able to work on payroll since my EAD card will have expired. Can I work voluntarily, so that I can stay in my current project?
I would really appreciate if someone can answer these questions.
