Hi Guys,
My Brother applied for 7th year extension and got a query. Attorney submitted requried documents. And now online shows the following message. HR is saying its a denial.. But they did not get any denial yet.. does anybody got the same message online. Any help would be great...

The online message is ....
"On August 18, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 90 and 150 days for us to process this kind of case. However because preliminary processing was complete, the remaining processing time will be less than the maximum stated in this message. You will receive a written decision on this case."

Yes the H1 got denied. He is leaving this Sunday. But fortunately his visa from Jan 2005 to 2006 has been approved. He will be back in mid of January.

HR has some power...

Your brother's company HR has some special power to sense a denial from the regular online message of "On August 18, 2004, we received your response to our request for evidence or information. It is taking between 90 and 150 days for us to process this kind of case. etc".

How did they know it was a denial even before they denied it???? The online message is the normal message INS posts after they receive a response for RFE....

Wondering how????
 
The HR must have difficulty in providing the required documents of the RFE or could not provide them. Did your brother started his green card process?? that is in the I-140 stage or at least a year in the labor stage??
