Urgent on intrim EAD

Friends, My current EAD(CSC) is expiring on MAY 15 this Year,I have applied for my EAD Renewal on Jan 2 in CSC,2003.
My I-485 is pending in CSC. My sponsoring employer is located in LA so we had applied my 485 in CSC, As i am on temporary assignemnt/project at client place in michigan since two years, is there any problem to go to DETROIT office to get intrim EAD.OR do i need to go california? please reply ASAP
 
you will have to come back to your local office in california since you have not requested a address change. but no harm in trying at local office but most probaly they will turn you away since they fall under different service center.
 
You should be able to get the iEAD in Detriot office. I have my EAD filed in CSC and I got my iEAD from district office in Houston, TX. I live in TX.
