Urgent:No News after drop box

Hi,

During my wife's 2 interview at chennai consulate for h4 visa revalidation, the officer asked for addl docs and asked to use the drop box. We sent the docs 3 weeks back and till now no response. We called consulate and all they say is the appln is under review.

Has anybody used drop box recently and how many days does it take for them to respond? Please let me know. My wife and kids tickets are scheduled to travel this week, dont know what to do....

221g and drop box

Hi Kar,

Even i am given 221g and asked to used VFS dropbox to drop one document. I am not sure what all docs did u drop in. Did you drop DS156, required document and passport also (or) only the asked document.

Dont worry if you have sent all the required documents asked. you will get the stamp.i had the same experience i got the passport after 1 month 1 week .
