I have a 10-year Green Card which will expire at the beginning of January 2024 and need to renew it (I-90).
My husband passed away this year.
Can I apply for I-90 online ? ( I was filling out everything online just now)
Do I have to report his death to USCIS first , wait for approval or whatever, and then apply for I-90?, which may cause delay of I-90 approval, correct?
The thing is I am going back to my home country from the end of October for 3 weeks to take care of my mother.
Can someone please give me your input ASAP, I appreciate it!
