I am currently in my final stages of I-485 AOS [RD 8/14/01].
I have a question regarding the six years on H1. I first entered US on 19th Aug 2001 and officially my six years should end on 19th Aug 2001.
I had a break of abt 2-1/2 months and 6 weeks in between. So when my lawyer applied for H1 extension, he tried to cover this period and hence I received the H1 extension valid till Dec 1 2001.
Will INS question abt the covering of 3-1/2 months period during my I-485 Adj.
Please post your views and experience on this as I am getting worried becuase INS might say I overstayed the six years.
