Urgent: Need help

My I485 ND 8/4/99, EAC99233. I did not file EAD with I485 because I wanted work with my H1.

Because the long wait and my H1 expiring on 1/1/00, my lawyer filed I765 (EAD) for me and my wife on 8/31/00, ND 9/18/00.

About one week ago I called INS and the message said both our EAD approved on 10/21/00 and EAD card ordered.

Today I checked the message and heard on 10/27 they mailed RFE for my EAD! My wife\'s still say "approved on 10/21".

We had FP done on 6/28/00 and no news for our I485 so far.

Anyone has similar experience? Please post and help me. Your information is greatly appreciated.

Sounds like my case.
ND for EAD 8/2/99. On 8/17/99 message changed to " Approved card has been ordered". Waited for a month, called IIO on 9/21/99, he told me that I should be receiving the card any day in mail. Called again around mid Oct. then I was told that a RFE has been ordered on 9/23/99 but it has not been mailed yet. On 10/30/99 received the REF asking for another set of photographs. Finally received the card on 12/12/99.
ND for I-485: 8/2/99, no news yet. Let us know if you here anything regarding your 485.
