URGENT..Need help on understanding the expiration date on EAD

On my current EAD, it says 'Expires 07/13/07'. I have not got my EAD renewed yet. I have my application with NSC. Meanwhile, I have sent an expedite request, but I have not seen anything. I am thinking of going on leave without pay, but I am confused as to when I should start my leave.

Can I work on the 13th. Or can I work only until the 12th? Please help me in this asap, as I need to talk to my company on when I need to go on leave.

Yes. Your EAD expires on 07/13/2007 11:59:59 PM.

From what I heard you cannot go on leave as INS whines about the benefits that you still get from the company.

My wife was in a similar situation and she had to quit the job.
