Urgent--Need help for IEAD

I filed I485 in MAY but I didn\'t file AP & EAD.
Now my question is can I go to local INS to get IEAD directory even I didn\'t apply it when I file I485.

Any suggestion is appriciated.

i have a similar situation. i filed my i-485 in apr with ead. i went to ins in jul to get iead but was refused. i had to file i-765 and wait until oct to get an iead.
