Guys. I need advice
My I-485 was about to get adjudicated when suddenly the visa numbers ran out. I know this for sure because I saw a lot of
movement in my LUD plus I got an RFE asking for employment verification letter which my lawyer alread responded.
I also got my I-140 approved, my fingerprints done and my name cleared already by the FBI. Everything is done except for
the I-485 adjudication!
Now if the Manila report is true (Lets say for one moment that it is), this means that my I-485 will have to wait for at
least another year since I got affected by retrogression.
I've been H1-B and worked with the same employer for the whole process.
How safe will be to apply for an EAD and look for another job at this stage of the process???
Staying with my current employer and waiting for another year is not an option for me, please advice.
