Urgent! Need Advice on Counsulate Interview after Layoff!!!

Hi,
I have the employment based Green Card application and take the staus adjustment at the US consular in China.
I passed the name check on August last year and am waiting for the interview appointment. My Green Card process is almost done. Probably I could get the interview next a couple of months. Unfortunately, I was laid off this week, so that's a tragedy for my family. Could you give me any suggestion please? What's the best solution I can take for my Green Card process?

Apply for AOS without employment letter. Send AC-21 after six months. Just be sure that company will not revoking your I-140 within six months
