URGENT : N400 Missed FP

Hi

I filed N400 on July 25,2007 and moved on Sept 01,2007. I call USCIS 800 number to change address but they did not have me on the system.

Today 9/20/07 evening, I received the case number AND the FP notice for 9/20/07 10:00 AM.

Evidently the Notice/FP went to my original address and USPS sent it back to USCIS. Then USCIS updated their system and then sent it to my new address and I missed the FP by 1 day

What are my options ? I am planning to go to the FP centere tomorrow 9/21 and request for my FP to be taken.

Any other pointers ? Please help

I missed my first appointment too due to FP letter arriving a day after my appointment date. I went the following Wednesday. If you read your letter, it should tell you that you can go on any Wednesdays up to a certain date. I had up to November 15th to get mine done. Hope this helps
 
Yes, missing FP appointment is not a big deal. A lot of people get it done earlier or later than their appointment date and USCIS seems quite flexible on this. At least you are done moving before your interview and oath letter are due to arrive. Those are two appointments that you don't want to miss if possible.
