URGENT: Multiple H-1B Extensions

My current company filed my labor in 2004 and have last month applied for 8 th year H-1B/H-4 extn. I already got the receipt notice .. Meanwhile I found another company which is willing to do labor substitution and file for H-1B extn ..

my question-

1. Can I file another H-1B extension at the same time. I know you can have multiple H-1B petitions processed at the same time. I want to make sure it is still valid in this scenario before I make this last attempt ..

please advise .. your input will be very helpful to me ..

Hi,

Yes, You can file multiple H1Bs using different employers. Before steping into new company review all areas of that new company (Financial status and rate of approvals in the past I140s) because you are in 8th year extension and using labor substitute. Once you move to new company your labor status invalid and you can't use future H1B/H4s extensions. So take wise step.
