Folks, need some urgent advice.
I got laid off on 18th Sept by company A that holds my H1B. I got the paystub of that pay period (ending 28th Sept) , but only for 2 days.
The company has agreed to not cancel my H1B and give me my severance pay in deferred pay periods, but the amount would be less than the prevailing wage on my LCA.
I am looking for a job and hopefully should be able to transfer my H1B in the next couple weeks.
Would this be a problem? Would the paystubs with amount less than prevailaing wage pose a problem during H1B transfer?
