I am currently working on H-1b in US , but prior to this I had a J-1 visa. I have never got a H-1b stamped in my passport before. I need to visit India--can I take appointment at any consulate under the emergency category as now I have the H-1b approval for the last one year? One VFS ( mumbai) says I can and another VFS ( Delhi ) says I cannot.
Shouldnt all VFS helplines have the same rule?
