Urgent!!! - Is EAD same as I-866B?

I am applying for a job at an organization and they are ready to interview me only if I have I-688B. They have asked me to verify whether EAD is same as I-688B.

Any help would be appreciated. I am not the primary applicant in 485 processing.
 
I think so.

Check the latest form I-9. If the 688-B is an older version of the EAD then they will have the number for the correct version.
 
Thanks Baba Yaga. Here is what I found at ins.gov forms-

Both form I-765 and form I-9 mention about I-688B. In I-765, under \'Part I-General\', there is \'Purpose of Application\' and \'Definitions\' (or just search for 688). After reading those 2 paragraphs, I have a feeling that EAD IS I-688B. Can you (or someone else) also verify it? - Just for peace of mind! I am attaching links to both the forms -
