Urgent - Interview - Which documents ?

Hi,

My AOS case was transfered to New York office for an interview. I applied for EAD and AP renewal. I see status as "interview" on both but I only got 1 letter saying my interview for EAD is scheduled next week.

The list of documents requested says "letter, i-94, receipts issued, passport, current EAD". Under the table it says "bring originals and copies of all immigration paperwork and documents issued".

- Could someone tell me whats going on ?
- Also what documents to take for the interview ?
- Is there anyway I can find out from USCIS/DOHS by calling any number ?
- Do I need to take a lawyer with me for the interview ?

I would really appreciate your reply about this.

- PD: March 2001
- Address change in EAD renewal
- Fingerprints taken more than 2 years ago.
- Company based in CA
- Last 2 years I am working in NY with the same company with their client in NY.

Thanks for the reply assur.

I still couldn't find all the info I needed as the info is very segregated. My interview is in less than a week now. If you or someone could direct me to the post which answers the questions or let me know, it would be very helpful.

As you can see, I am really running short on time and if I need any more documents, I will have to contact and get documents from CA.

got EAD renewed now

Hi All,

Thanks for all the help. I got my EAD renewal done on the 5th Dec. The interview wasn't much lengthy. They took my photograph (then and there) and gave me the EAD. No documents were checked. I submitted my old EAD and got a new one.

Also got a notice for AOS interview in Jan. First gotta go for finger print. Till then... Crossing my finger and touching wood...
