I plan to travel with AP and have the following concern. During my H1 period I was out of project and was not paid for more than 6 months but I had a valid H1 and I94 all the time. Later I got a project and was paid and I applied for AOS as a dependent. My concern is if I travel with AP will I have any problem at POE in return because of this.
Has anyone been in similar situation and traveled with AP?

What status are you on presently ?
Still on H1 or have you switched over to EAD?

Also when exactly did this "6 months, no pay" thing occur ??

currently on AOS.Switched from H1. have EAD but nerver used as iam dependent. This occured while on H1.
 
No need to worry. As long as you use AP no body cares, no body is going to check at POE about your work stuff.

If you hand over your AP at POE they are not going to check anything. all they see (if any) is your status, for your information you are not out of status as your visa didn't expire. You are not paid for 6 months doesn't mean that you are out of status.

you are good, carry your AP with you..
